  • your hosts

Your hosts at Rua Hiwi Hut are Simon, Paula, Aneeka, Nicole, and Lara, along with their trusty working dogs Moley and Raf.

Simon works as a farmer, while Paula is a Medical Receptionist in Hamilton.

Having lived and farmed on the property for six years, Simon and Paula developed a true appreciation for the serene views that surround them. Looking for new ways to share their stunning slice of paradise with others, they discovered the magic of glamping and were immediately drawn to its unique charm.

The name 'Rua Hiwi' means two ridges, as it perfectly describes the twin ridges that run up the middle of their farm.
